1.) Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy
Never deliberately mislead a customer into buying a product that they are unsure of. It is wrong. This will end with a result of your customers’ loss of trust in your company and it will come crumbling down.
In order to gain the trust of your customers, you have to be 100% honest with them and make sure their needs come first.

2.) The customer is not always right
OK; maybe the customer is not always right in certain situations. For instance, in a restaurant, the customer is not satisfied with the meal that was brought out to them. In reality, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. They are just using that to their advantage to gain something in return.

Most people think that SEO is black hat. Not necessarily. By maintaining your cool and explaining the finer details to your customers, it will show that all their preferences are wrong. If you follow all of their demands you will not deliver leaving them blaming themselves and their SEO Company, meaning you.

3.) Care
Staying calm, polite and helpful is more important than any other sectors of SEO. You should always tell your customers that you can help them and never be rude to them, although at times you feel as though they are yelling at you directly. They are just upset. Reassure them that everything is OK and you will take care of everything. Let them know that they can trust your services and all rest assured that you will deliver the results that they are looking for.

4.) Stay in touch
Whether you are a big company or it is just you and your cat at home, always stay in touch with your customers. Allow them to contact you if they need to. Make sure that you always provide a number for them to reach you. It is a bad idea to just use an email service. They do not know when they will hear back from you. This can cause them to become annoyed. SO just make sure that you give them a number that they can actually talk to a real person.

5.) Be excellent
The SEO world is very competitive and there are lots of SEO services out there. Make sure that your entire service is dedicated to adding value to the client rather than just meeting the basic level. You services should be excellent at all times. Make sure that the air around you and your customers is always positive.
